Decorative planters and ways to display your plants. You can make your house plants look great with decorative planters. You might chose a self-watering planter if you are away from home often or forget to care for your indoor plants on a regular basis.

Unless a planter requires that your plant is directly potted (some self-watering systems work that way), it is often better to "double pot" your house plants. That is, find a decorative planter that is a few inches larger than your grow pot and just set the plant, grow pot and all, right inside of the decorative container. Whatever planter you chose for your indoor plants, make sure they are watered properly and installed with good drainage.
